Originally from the Philippines, Jeremie Acosta is a Registered Dental Hygienist at CarolinasDentist Fuquay-Varina. He attended Fayetteville Technical Community College and began his dental hygiene career in 2026.
Jeremie loves being a dental hygienist because of the immediate impact he can make for his patients. He finds it especially rewarding to see the transformation from a smile with heavy buildup to one that is cleaner and healthier. He enjoys helping patients feel good about their smiles while encouraging habits that can improve their oral health long term.
His best dental hygiene tip is to focus on consistency. Creating the habit of brushing twice a day and flossing twice a day can make a big difference, and as Jeremie says, your body will thank you!
Outside of dentistry, Jeremie loves spending time in nature, traveling, and experiencing new places. A fun fact about him is that his very first job was at Baskin-Robbins.
