Dr. Gajjar was born in Nairobi, Kenya and moved to the United States when he was five years old. His formative years were spent in historic Yorktown, Virginia. Dr. Gajjar attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) where he majored in Chemistry, receiving his undergraduate degree magna cum laude. He continued his education earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery magna cum laude from VCU as well.

Dr. Gajjar completed a general practice residency at the prestigious Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, where he received The Resident of the Year Award. During his residency, Dr. Gajjar had the honor of being chosen as Chief Resident. During his time at Beth Israel Medical Center, he trained in all facets of general dentistry including crowns, bridges, Invisalign®, implant placement and restoration.

Dr. Gajjar and his wife, who also practices dentistry, call Cary home now. He and his wife enjoy staying active, spending time with family and trying new restaurants around the Triangle. Dr. Gajjar also enjoys traveling, running and playing disc golf on the weekends.
