Dr. Steddum attended UNC-Chapel Hill as an undergraduate and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the ECU School of Dental Medicine in 2016. Following dental school, Dr. Steddum completed his residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he received formal training in oral surgery, implant placement, dental prosthetics, and the management of medically compromised patients.
Dr. Steddum earned his IV Sedation permit through advanced training at The Aristotle Institute and actively maintains his credentials through membership in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. In addition to his role in private practice, Dr. Steddum serves as a clinical instructor with Western Surgical & Sedation, where he teaches general dentists from around the country the surgical management of wisdom teeth. Dr. Steddum is dedicated to providing surgical procedures in a safe and comfortable environment at Carolinas Dentist.
