Lumineers® in North Carolina

If you want to enhance the overall look of your smile but don’t want to commit to a more invasive, permanent option like porcelain veneers, Lumineers are the way to go! Lumineers are incredibly thin shells that can be customized to look like your teeth but better. To learn more about Lumineers and how they can work for your unique smile, we recommend giving our office a call or sending us a message to schedule a consultation.

What is the process for receiving Lumineers?

During your consultation, we will work with you to determine what color, size, and shape you want your teeth to be and how you want your smile to look overall. We will use this information to design a mockup of your new smile that you can look at and make any adjustments to if you would like. The follow-up appointment involves applying your new custom Lumineers, as there are no temporary veneers required with Lumineers. We also typically do not have to use any numbing methods. Once the treatment is finished, your new smile is complete!

Should I get Lumineers or traditional veneers?

Many patients like the fact that Lumineers are less invasive than traditional veneers because their tooth enamel does not have to be removed. This also means that Lumineers are not permanent like traditional veneers, so they can be completely removed at any time. In other cases, patients don’t want the more natural look that Lumineers offer and instead want to opt for a more perfect-looking, Hollywood smile. Not sure which choice is right for you? Don’t worry! We can go over everything in more detail during your consultation.

Are Lumineers expensive?

Lumineers tend to be less expensive than traditional veneers, but both options are much more of an investment than cosmetic services like professional teeth whitening. While dental insurance isn’t likely to cover a treatment like Lumineers, our office accepts payment plans through both Comprehensive Finance™ and CareCredit®, which can help to make services like veneers and Lumineers far more budget-friendly and manageable.
