Sophia is originally from Wilmington, North Carolina, and brings a thoughtful, patient- centered approach to her care at the Midtown office. She holds a degree in Biology and Hispanic Studies from UNC Chapel Hill, and later earned her dental hygiene credentials from Wake Technical Community College.
Sophia became a dental hygienist to build lasting relationships with her patients while delivering uncompromising, high-quality care. Her passion for dentistry is deeply personal as she underwent extensive restorative work as a child and still remembers how her dental team eased her anxiety and empowered her through education. That experience continues to inspire her to create the same level of trust and comfort for every patient she sees.
She believes dental visits should go beyond cleanings, serving as an opportunity to connect, educate, and support everyone’s health journey.
When she’s not in the office, Sophia stays busy with her young son and is currently training for a half marathon. She also has a love for travel and enjoys exploring new places whenever she can.
Sophia’s dedication to compassionate care and her desire to truly make a difference in her patients’ lives make her a valuable part of our Midtown team.
