Dr. Sarah Kinsley grew up in Greenville, NC, and attended East Carolina University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, earning her B.A. in Chemistry, with a minor in Biology and Hispanic Studies. As a proud ECU graduate, she didn’t have to travel far to pursue her dental degree, graduating with honors from the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD).
Dr. Kinsley believes that being a dentist is both rewarding and challenging, with so many opportunities to help improve patients’ dental health. Every patient is unique, and she gets to problem solve and be creative daily. Dr. Kinsley enjoys being able to interact with and help as many people as possible to achieve a beautiful and healthy smile. Her favorite quote is from Maya Angelou, “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
When Dr. Kinsley is not making smiles happen, she and her husband, Kyle, love the great outdoors, especially with their two Goldendoodles, Murphy and Oliver. Her love for all things nature, including the beach and state parks, allows her the opportunity to relax and enjoy salt life in Wilmington, NC.
Dr. Kinsley enjoys cooking, trying out new recipes and of course, finding all the fantastic restaurants along the Carolina coast. She is a big fan of The Defined Dish Cookbook, by Alex Snodgrass. She has made every recipe from the book and highly recommends it for some tasty dishes.
