Originally from Huntersville, North Carolina, Dr. Jack Welborne is excited to bring his passion for dentistry, building meaningful relationships, and creating confident smiles to the CarolinasDentist Winston-Salem team.
Dr. Welborne completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UNC Adams School of Dentistry. For him, dentistry is about much more than teeth—it’s an opportunity to relieve pain, transform smiles, and build lasting relationships with the people in his community. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.
Outside of the office, Dr. Welborne enjoys hiking, golfing, traveling, hunting, and reading. A few fun facts about him: he’s currently learning to play the harmonica, still drives the same truck he’s had since high school, and will rarely turn down hibachi—his favorite food.
One of his favorite quotes is, “What a privilege to be tired from the work you once begged the universe for.” — Aryan Sachdeva
Dr. Welborne is excited to serve the Winston-Salem community and looks forward to creating an environment where his patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care. His goal is to provide personalized, compassionate dentistry while helping each patient achieve a healthy smile they’re proud to share.
