Whitney Champion is passionate about making dental visits comfortable and positive. A native of Shelby, North Carolina and a Burns High School graduate, she has spent five years in dental hygiene and nearly four years at our Gastonia office.
Whitney loves seeing patients leave with healthier smiles and greater confidence. She reminds everyone that flossing—or using a water flosser—is just as critical as brushing, since most dental problems begin between the teeth.
Outside the operatory, Whitney’s world revolves around family. She and her husband, Chandler, enjoy raising their sweet daughter Claire and keeping up with their energetic Aussie, Bandit. Shopping trips, quality time with loved ones, and creating memories together fill her weekends.
Her advice to future hygienists is to shadow early, stay curious, and remember that patients will remember how you made them feel long after their appointment.
