What if I have a question or concern before my first appointment?

If I enroll in the membership plan, can I use it to cover my first visit?
Absolutely! Our in-house membership plan is an excellent financial option for patients who are uninsured and looking for a budget-friendly alternative to dental insurance. Benefits begin immediately upon enrollment, so you can sign up for our plan a few days before your visit or on the day of your appointment.
Do I need to send over information from my previous dentist?
If you provide us with the name of your previous dental office on your new patient forms, we may reach out to them to gather information for your new patient file. However, we also take new X-rays and assessments for every new patient that joins the CarolinasDentist family, so it’s not always necessary.
How will I know which services I need?
Some patients have an idea of what their smile needs prior to visiting our office, while others have no clue. Both are totally acceptable, as your dentist will assess your teeth and gums and ask about any symptoms to design a custom treatment plan based on your unique dental preferences and needs. If you are interested in a specific treatment, like a cosmetic or orthodontic service, your first visit with us is the perfect time to ask about it!
What if it’s been a long time since I’ve been to a dentist?
Whether you’ve never missed a dentist appointment or it’s been a few (or many) years since you’ve been in the dental chair, our team would be more than happy to care for your smile.
