Shawn, originally from Wilmington, NC, is a dental hygienist at CarolinasDentist Porters Neck and joined the team in 2025. A graduate of Coastal Carolina Community College, Shawn has been a dental hygienist for a couple of years now and enjoys helping patients understand their oral health while building strong relationships with them.
Shawn loves educating patients about the connection between oral health and overall health and values creating a comfortable, welcoming experience for everyone he treats.
Outside of the office, Shawn enjoys caring for animals and currently has two dogs, four cats, nine chickens, and two ducks. A fun fact about Shawn is that he was born on April Fool’s Day and Good Friday!
