Born and raised in Gastonia, NC, Lauren Ballard is thrilled to care for patients in the same community she calls home. A graduate of Central Piedmont Community College, she has been a dental hygienist for six years and is proud to be part of our Gastonia office.
Lauren loves connecting with patients and helping them feel confident about their smiles. For her, dentistry is as much about building relationships as it is about promoting oral health. Her favorite hygiene advice? “Always floss the teeth you want to keep!” — a reminder that small daily habits make a big difference in long-term health.
Outside the office, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband—her high school sweetheart—and their two daughters, Blakely and Ellie. She’s a big fan of live music and loves catching a good concert whenever she can. Lauren’s advice to future hygienists is to stay focused and never give up—the hard work pays off in the most rewarding ways.
