Cai Taylor is passionate about helping patients feel calm, informed, and confident during their dental visits. Originally from Wilmington, North Carolina, she attended Cape Fear Community College and became a licensed dental hygienist in September 2025. She’s been with our team for one year, and before becoming a licensed RDH with us, she proudly served as a dental assistant at our practice.
Cai was drawn to dentistry because she knows how stressful appointments can feel for many people. Her goal is to reduce dental anxiety while educating patients on their oral health and why consistent dental care is so important.
Her top hygiene tip? Switch to an electric toothbrush! With built-in timers and pressure sensors, electric toothbrushes help take the guesswork out of brushing and make it easier to improve your daily routine.
Outside the office, Cai enjoys creative hobbies like crocheting, experimenting with landscape and nature photography, and spending weekends exploring Asheville’s trails and hiking spots.
Her advice to future hygienists is simple: study hard and stay organized—it makes all the difference as you work toward a successful career in dentistry.
