Our Winston-Salem, The Pointe, and Asheville locations have on-site 3D printers, allowing patients to receive same-day oral appliances. Otherwise, they are sent to an offsite lab to be created. Once ready, we’ll check the fit and make any necessary adjustments. Then, you’ll leave with a durable, personalized guard designed to protect your teeth comfortably and effectively.
How long do custom mouthguards and nightguards last?
On average, a custom mouthguard or nightguard lasts at least 3–5 years, depending on wear and care. Heavy grinders may need replacements sooner, while others enjoy even longer use. Regular dental visits allow us to check the condition of your appliance and make sure it still fits properly.
