Dr. Priya Raju was born and raised in Southern India which is known for its rich culture and traditions of art and literature. She received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai with Distinctions and was trained by experienced dentists during the early stages of her career. She then came to the United States and attended an advanced standing program for international dentists and received her DMD degree with high honors from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
She has more than 7 years of experience in treating patients with care, compassion, and confidence. She believes dentistry is unique and challenging because it is a combination of science and arts which requires great cognition and creativity to restore oral health and a beautiful smile at the same time.
She can easily connect with people, which helps put her patients at great ease and comfort throughout their visits. While restoring great smiles to her patients brings her joy, she gets the fulfillment in relieving them from pain. Dr. Raju takes an individualistic approach to delivering oral care to every patient she meets.
She is Invisalign Certified and dedicates numerous hours to taking continuing education courses to keep herself updated with the latest technologies in the ever-evolving field of dentistry.
Today she lives in Cary and when not practicing dentistry, she is a busy mother of two kids and enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her little spare time, she enjoys painting with different mediums, cooking new dishes, and playing with her kids.
