Dr. Zukerman grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has always prided himself in being creative and artistic, whether drawing or playing blues guitar. He wanted a professional career that not only allowed him to tap in to his creative skillsets, but would also allow him to help others and make a strong impact in his community.
While in college, Dr. Zukerman built a relationship with the UNC Craniofacial Team Dentist, who demonstrated the positive impact a dentist can have on others’ lives and how to find creative solutions to help patients reach their goals for treatment. There was no turning back–he decided the only professional career for him would be to follow his mentor’s example and become a dentist.

Dr. Zukerman always listens to his patients’ concerns and goals, finds collaborative solutions, and even tries to throw in a joke or two to bring humor to the dental chair. He enjoys taking the time to get to know his patients, and treats all patients as friends and family. He defines professional satisfaction solely as a result of his patients’ satisfaction.
He enjoys spending time with his girlfriend of three years. They love to travel the country, spend quiet weekends in the mountains, or simply grilling and cooking dinner at home.
Dr. Zukerman has a life-long love of music, particularly classic rock and blues. You can occasionally hear him from down the street jamming away on his Carolina blue Fender Stratocaster. His newest venture is golf – so watch your windows!
