Dr. Rebecca Fronheiser was born in picturesque Upstate New York, where small towns dot the landscape with natural beauty. While attending the University of Rochester, Dr. Fronheiser heard the call to serve and enlisted in the United States Army Reserves. Dr. Fronheiser continued her higher education, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Fronheiser entered active-duty service after graduating from dental school and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the United States Army. Dr. Fronheiser’s army career was furthered by a deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She served in the military for over ten years and is a proud veteran of our armed forces.
Dr. Fronheiser, an experienced dental practitioner, continues to broaden her clinical expertise with a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry, which only 6% of general dentists achieve. Dr. Fronheiser is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and holds certification from the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. Dr. Fronheiser embodies a kind and caring spirit for her patients and continues to provide enhanced services for a lifetime of good oral health.
In her free time, Dr. Fronheiser loves to spend her time outdoors with her constant canine companions, Monty, and Quinn. They are always by her side when exploring local North Carolina farmer’s markets or hiking some of the incredible North Carolina nature trails.
