Dr. Meghan Manisero was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Manalapan, NJ. Meghan’s college life took her to the University of North Carolina-Wilmington where she majored in chemistry and minored in biology. After earning her degree from UNCW, Meghan continued her education at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine earning her DDS degree. Dr. Manisero then completed a one-year General Practice residency in Syracuse, NY. Meghan then spent a few years practicing dentistry in upstate New York before deciding to call North Carolina home.
Dr. Manisero believes that dentistry brings art and science into one exciting, challenging and evolving career with an endless future for learning, building relationships and changing lives for the better. Her passion for helping others has always been evident, and she continues to create a lasting bond with her patients. Meghan enjoys being a part of the CarolinasDentist-Porters Neck family and loves the opportunity to create smiles every day with a growth-oriented team that shares her work-hard, play-hard attitude. “Work will never feel like work when you love what you do and who you do it with!”
During her free time, Meghan loves being out on the water, whether at Wrightsville Beach or the Intracoastal waterway. She is always looking for new adventures. Since relocating to the Wilmington, NC area, Meghan has continued to embrace and support her love for the area, whether at local restaurants or shops. If there is music to be found, she’s there and ready to enjoy the sounds! Her favorite quote—“the only time I set the bar low is for limbo.”-Michael Scott, The Office.
Dr. Manisero is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the North Carolina Dental Society.
