Dr. Taylor Baldwin was born and raised in Holly Springs, NC. She completed her undergraduate degree in 2016 at East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Studies with a concentration in Pre-Health Professions. While applying to dental school, she went on to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to earn her certificate in dental assisting. She then returned to Greenville, NC to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in 2021. Throughout dental school Dr. Baldwin spent her free time frequently volunteering for free dental clinics and used her dental assisting certification to gain experience working with many different doctors in private practice.
Because of Dr. Baldwin’s eagerness to expand her knowledge in dentistry, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program through East Carolina University in Elizabeth City, NC. During her residency, she gained experience in same-day crowns, surgical tooth removal, root canals, implant placement and restoration, crown and bridge, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Baldwin is very passionate about dentistry and staying up to date on the latest techniques by regularly attending continuing education courses. Dr. Baldwin has a particular interest in perfecting her expertise in oral surgery and implant placement techniques. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In 2022, Dr. Baldwin joined the CarolinasDentist team in Garner, NC. She is dedicated to building new relationships with her patients and providing anxiety-free, patient- centered care. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Baldwin enjoys crafting, DIY projects, going to the movies, trying out new recipes, and spending time with her family. She also loves creating and making unique earrings from resin and polymer clay for friends and family.
