Dr. Blair Fleming is a Kentucky native who relocated to the beautiful state of North Carolina in the midst of the pandemic in 2020. Dr. Fleming knew she wanted to be a dentist since she was sixteen and decided to apply to the University of Louisville’s Early Admittance to Dentistry (ULEAD) program her senior year of high school. This allowed her entrance into dental school after completing her undergraduate degree while also fostering her love of dentistry through volunteer and educational opportunities at the dental school. After graduating from the University of Louisville with a degree in psychology, she went on to graduate from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. In dental school, Dr. Fleming loved the experience of working in different clinics around Louisville as well as traveling to the Philippines to provide a dental clinic for high school students, teaching oral hygiene and learning a few new dance moves as well.
Dr. Fleming is certified in Invisalign, CEREC (same-day crowns) and loves working with patients to fulfill their cosmetic needs. She loves to study what is new in dentistry and has recently completed the Nash Institute’s cosmetic dentistry continuum to better serve patients wanting to improve the esthetics of their smile. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society.
When she’s not in the office, she enjoys hiking with her husband and her dogs (Ace, a ten-year-old Blue Heeler, and Julep, a three-year-old Irish Doodle), cooking pizza on the grill, going to the beach and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Fleming also has a love/hate relationship with the game of golf but has been lucky to spend more time playing this past year and seeing different courses in the area. If you have any advice on which TV shows to watch, gardening advice, or want to talk about the Kentucky Derby, come see Dr. Fleming!
